A big congrats goes out to Ellen DeGeneres for her Oscar Selfie retweet efforts on Twitter. She smashed the previous record held by Barak Obama.

Ellen quickly passed 778,508 retweets. It took about 30 minutes for her to reach the 810,000 retweet mark. There was a brief moment where Twitter appeared to be having some issues handling the volume. But Twitter’s services were quickly restored.

Barak Obama held the pervious retweet record with this tweet announcing that he had won his second term as President of the United States.

  • In so many ways Baseball is like life. It's unpredictable, requires practice, has winners and losers, and needs players to work together as a team.
  • Acres and acres of tobacco just after a heavy afternoon rain storm. It's a sight to see when you're driving home from baseball practice.
  • Gavin had his last home baseball game of the spring season. Here he is with Coach Charles Chrismon. His 8U team won all but one game this season. These kids have developed so much over these past few months thanks to the coaches and parents who want to help these kids find their love for baseball. I hope they keep playing. Baseball offers a lot to teach them about life.

  • Had a great day with my three boys today. They were all so happy to get hair cuts ONLY because they got lollipops. Gavin tried to raid the bowl and pick out one of every flavor. I was finally able to convince him to pick one. He reluctantly chose the root beer dumb dumb.
  • Congrats to Gavin for receiving the Sacrament of Reconciliation.
He's a sweet kid but I have a feeling he's going to ask to go back tomorrow. Lol!
